Clear View anti-reflective glass provides a very clear view of the flames, as there are almost no reflections on the glass. If you choose Clear View glass, the window must be cleaned correctly before and after lighting for the first time. It is possible to purchase DRU’s PowerVent® system, which allows the gas fireplace to be placed at a long distance from the exhaust of the flue. This is useful, for example, if the fireplace is to be placed in the hotel reception or in apartments. Of course, flues can also be established in existing chimneys. Gas fireplaces may only be installed by an installer who is certified to work with gas. He or she will be responsible for the installation of the gas fireplace and the flue, as well as the supply of gas to the fireplace – for example, bottled gas, natural gas or city gas.
