Generally
We do not store information about your orders in a way that allows you to request a copy of the order confirmation at a later date.
Therefore, always remember to save the order confirmation you receive by email.
You can always write to us if you want a copy of your invoice.
When you make a purchase, you need to go through the following steps.
1. Select the item – press buy
2. Go to cart
3. Tap on “Address” – fill in address
4. Fill in any other delivery address, if applicable
5. Confirm terms of sale and delivery
6. Go to payment – Choose the payment method or cancel the purchase.
7. You will now receive an order confirmation
Remember you can always go back to previous steps by pressing “Back” if you have entered incorrect information.
All prices on the website are daily prices and are updated regularly.
You do not need to be registered as a user to be able to shop at Vento Nordic A/S

Order
Ordering of goods is done via our webshop at ventonordic.com. You will automatically receive an order confirmation for the order, which also serves as a receipt and invoice – and it is also your warranty certificate.

For the final confirmation of the order, whether the ordered item(s) are in stock and to agree on a possible delivery/pick-up time, you will be contacted by one of our employees, either by phone or e-mail.

All prices of www.ventonordic.com are stated in Danish kroner and incl. 25% VAT.

Payment can be made via the following cards: Dankort, VISA/Dankort, Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, Visa Electron.

When you pay with a payment card, you are always safe from misuse. You have the option of rejecting a payment when you receive your payment summary. You have no deductible in the event that your card is misused in an internet store that uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) in its payment system. This means that you are better protected than in the physical world, where you have a deductible of DKK 1200 if your credit card is misused using a PIN code.

The information you enter in connection with your payment card is encrypted (SSL), and it is thus only PBS that has access to it. Neither Vento Nrodic A/S nor others have the opportunity to read your data.

The amount will not be withdrawn from your card until the item is shipped from us.

Delivery and costs

Light shipments are delivered with Danish carriers or GLS. Heavy/volume shipping is delivered by carrier. Shipping by carrier is delivered on the ground floor. As a general rule, no shipments are left without a receipt for receipt. Deliveries that are made without a receipt at the buyer’s request are at the buyer’s own risk in the event of any defects and damage. Delivery time: stock items 1-2 days. Order items delivery date is stated on the order confirmation

Prices

All prices include 25% VAT. However, offer items only for a limited period of time or until the item is sold out. However, we reserve the right to make any price changes that are beyond our control (price increases, new price and tax laws, postage/transport increases, cost increases, etc.), as well as to printing errors.

Right of withdrawal / Right of return
When buying from Vento Nordic A/S, you always have a 30-day right of withdrawal on a purchase of Vento Proff and a 14-day right of withdrawal on fireplaces. Custom made items will not be returned. The right of withdrawal runs from the day you received your item.

You must always notify Vento Nordic A/S if you wish to cancel your purchase.

The condition of the item when you send it back:
You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods that is due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. In other words – you can try the product in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store, and without actually using it.

If the item has been tried on beyond what is described above, we consider it used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only get part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item. As the original packaging in some cases constitutes a significant part of the value of the product, it may mean that the product is considered to have been reduced in value if the packaging is broken or damaged.

Goods that are manufactured according to the consumer’s specifications or have been given a clear personal touch, such as certain wood-burning stoves, are exempt from the right of withdrawal.

You must bear the cost of returning the item yourself. Please note: we do not accept and accept packages returned by cash on delivery.

If you regret the purchase, the purchase price will be refunded. This is done by transferring the item to your bank account once we have received the item back and checked that it meets the rules for the right of withdrawal. It is therefore important that we are informed of your registration number and account number.

Possibilities to complain
A complaint about a product or service purchased from us can be submitted to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority’s Centre for Complaint Resolution, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby. You can complain to the Centre for Complaint Resolution via www.forbrug.dk.

The European Commission’s online complaint portal can also be used when filing a complaint. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer residing in another EU country. Complaints are filed here

Return
You must send your order back to us without undue delay, and no later than 14-30 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You must bear the direct costs in connection with the return shipment of the goods. You bear the risk of the goods from the time of delivery of the goods.

Certain goods cannot be returned by normal post due to their nature. This applies, for example, to larger appliances and wood-burning stoves.

The cost of returning is expected to amount to a maximum of approx. DKK: DKK 100-400, depending on the type of product.

Refund of the purchase amount
If you regret your purchase, you will get the amount you have paid to us back. In the event of a depreciation for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount.

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (but not additional costs resulting from your own choice of a form of delivery other than the least expensive form of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we have received notice of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will make such a refund using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the item back, unless you have provided documentation of having returned it before then.

You can also cancel the purchase by giving clear notice and handing it in in person at the address above. This can only be done by written agreement.

Complaints
When you shop with us, your purchase is covered by the Sale of Goods Act and the defect rules. This means that you can complain about your product for 24 months from the day you received your goods.

When you shop with us as a consumer, you have a 24-month warranty. This means that you can either have the item repaired, exchanged, your money back or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation. It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other harmful behaviour. Complaint processing requires that the product is installed in accordance with applicable regulations and laws applicable to the product.

Contact us within a reasonable time
You must make a complaint within a “reasonable time” after you have discovered the defect in the product. If you make a complaint within two months of the defect being discovered, the complaint will always be timely.

Transport damage
When you receive the item, we encourage you to check the item’s packaging. If the item looks damaged, we recommend that you refuse to accept it from the driver. Then you fill out the form below. If the package has minor packaging damage, but the item appears to be intact, please have the driver note it on the consignment note.

If there is hidden damage, i.e. damage that cannot be ascertained at the time of delivery, it is important that you do not use the product until our claims manager has assessed the damage. It is also important that you save the original packaging as documentation that the damage was not visible at the time of delivery. If you experience a hidden damage, you should contact us as soon as possible. If you are not going to assemble your item until a while, we therefore recommend that you immediately unpack the item and check that it is as expected.

Make sure you fill out the claim form correctly – we encourage you to take photos of the damage as documentation.

Privacy policy
A cookie is a term for the fact that a user’s behavior on a network is registered by the user himself (on the user’s hard drive). In this way, the server (e.g. a website) knows on the user’s next visit that the user has previously visited the website, as well as any history from the visit.

On ventonordic.com, cookies are used for the purpose of optimising the website and its functionalities and thus making your visit as easy as possible for you.

You always have the option to delete cookies from your computer. This can be done in the following way: In Internet Explorer 5.X, cookies are deleted under the menu “Tools” -> “Internet Options” -> “Delete cookies”

Personal information in connection with a purchase
In order for you to enter into an agreement with us via the website, you must register with the following personal information

We register your personal data for the purpose of being able to deliver the goods to you. Going forward, we will store your information in order to provide you with the best service in connection with warranty cases and the procurement of spare parts more quickly. In accordance with the Bookkeeping Act, we store your information for 5 years, after which you are free to ask us to delete your information.

When personal data is collected via our website, we ensure that it is always done with your explicit consent, so that you are informed of exactly what information is collected and why.

We do not store or transmit customer information encrypted. However, the information you enter in connection with your payment card will be encrypted (SSL), and it is thus only PBS that has access to these.
