Since Clear View glass has virtually no reflections, the flames look almost as clear as fire in an open fireplace. When choosing Clear View glass, the glass must be cleaned before and after the first lighting. Refer to the instructions in the “Cleaning Windows” chapter of the user manual supplied with the product. Clear View glass must be purchased, while standard glass is included in the price. With DRU’s PowerVent® system, you can place the tunnel fireplace at a long distance from the exhaust of the flue. It requires a certification to work with gas, so the Metro 130XT Tunnel gas fireplace must be installed by a professional. The installer is responsible for the installation of the fireplace, flue and supply of gas to the fireplace – for example, bottled gas, natural gas or city gas. The Gas Safety Act gives you an overview of the laws and regulations that exist in connection with the installation of gas fireplaces.

Wide-format gas fireplace perfect as a room divider in large rooms
The Metro 130XT tunnel fireplace is an impressive 130 cm wide-format gas fireplace with which you can create eye-catchers in larger rooms in the home as well as in convention centres and hotels. It is an eye-catching element in the room(s) and at the same time creates a very cozy atmosphere in a large area, as the fire can be seen from both sides of the fireplace. As one of the larger fireplaces in Dutch DRU’s range, this tunnel fireplace is 89.6% efficient and in energy class A. It creates a very nice wide, zigzag-patterned flame image using the Vario Burner system – a series of burners hidden in the included natural brown ceramic firewood. Instead of brown firewood, the tunnel fireplace is available with white ceramic firewood, which looks confusingly similar to birch firewood. In addition, the bottom of the firebox is available with white or gray stones. The Metro 130XT tunnel fireplace comes with remote control, but can also be connected to the innovative DRU Eco Wave system. With this system, you can adjust the flames from a smartphone or tablet using a Wi-Fi connection. Creating beautiful flames does not require more gas consumption, as Eco Wave can save up to 50% gas. With its wide design, the Metro 130XT Tunnel Gas Fireplace is a very elegant tunnel fireplace for installation in walls or room dividers in larger rooms.
